Wessel: America’s Grand Deleveraging December 6, 2007

David Wessel wrote a great piece about the state of the economy today, and I think he’s right.  Business lending aside, American consumers could use a little lot less leverage in their lives.  My view is the economy is going to slow, but won’t experience a textbook recession, especially during an election year.
